Welcome to The World....

Marlon and I have nothing in common.  That’s not true, but from the outside looking in, it may not be that apparent.  The basics?  I’m a ‘bookworm’, Marlon is a sports head.  I’m tall, he is short.  He is an introverted extrovert, I’m an extroverted introvert.  He doesn’t always talk, and there’s not many times I’m not talking.  I love everything food and will try anything once and Marlon?  Well, let’s say I literally taste test before I get his stamp of approval (i.e. making sure he doesn’t chuck his guts for the rest of the trip).  I’m a bit awkward in a space cadet-chef-poet-artist-supreme kind of way, he is very much the cool, laid back, chill on the beach character.  All in all, it just fits.  And then there is that one thing…our mutual love of travel.  Let’s call that the cherry on our love cake *cake* cake* cake*. 

With our powers combined, we are here to share our travels, our eats (even recipes!!!), our feelings, our findings of the world with you from our points of view, which, if you ask me, are pretty much the epitome of well rounded.  We will go to the “normal” hot spots and also some places well off the beaten path.  The things the cool kids do, but also the places for the geeks of the world.  

And *bonus* we {mostly} ball on a budget. 

Our end goal for TWMT.live is to show everyone how it easy it can actually be to see the world from pretty much where you are right now regardless of budget.  Now, there is a small matter of priorities; if you do want to get out here you may have to not hit those sales, or skip that take out (or NOT!), but with just a few adjustments, it’s not at all impossible to see the places you have dreamed of. 

We hope you take these journeys with us via the site and images, but MOST importantly, VISIT some of the places, sign up for future group outings, eat and some places you wouldn't think to, or maybe wanted to know about first!
